Mr. Ravi Popat
Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon
Ravi is an expert in joint replacement surgery of the hip and knee, with a particular interest in partial knee replacement surgery, and soft tissue surgery (for cartilage, meniscus and ligament damage, as well as issues with kneecap instability). At the outset he believes in using both operative and non-operative approaches in an attempt to save the patient's natural joint where possible, working with his patients to find the most suitable approach for the individual. He has expertise managing elite athletes, weekend-warriors as well as those who lead more relaxed lifestyles.
Ravi takes a holistic approach to his practice, ensuring that he takes the time to listen to his patients and uses the latest technology to identify the cause of his patient's symptoms. He explains things clearly using easy-to-understand terms and allows plenty of time for his patients to ask questions and discuss concerns. This allows patients to make the best treatment decisions possible.
